- 7:30 – 8 p.m. – Video and Photo Competition Awards Ceremony
Our keynote speaker Robin Samora will give a presentation on the importance of branding yourself professionally and personally.
Samora has been a professional in the PR and Marketing field for more than 20 years and specializes in creating fresh and engaging campaigns to connect brands, consumers and the media.
Samora will discuss ways to set yourself apart professionally and personally with your own Brand
Video & Photo Competitions
In conjunction with the Multimedia Production Day, Fresno State and high school students of the Central Valley of California have the opportunity to showcase their talents to their peers and industry professionals by participating in video and photo competitions.
Entries will be judged by industry professionals.
The theme for Central Valley high school students will be to create a 1-2 minute video about a social issue affecting the Central Valley with a call-to-action. The photo competition will have the same theme and students will be able to submit either one photo or a collage of photos.
The theme for current Fresno State students will be to create a 1-2 minute video of what makes the Central Valley great. The photo competition will have the same theme and students will be able to submit one photo or a collage of photos.
Winners of the competition will be revealed at the event, and an awards ceremony will be held to present prizes and recognition
Refreshments will be available for attendees; admission is free and is open to the public.
