In conjunction with MCJ Week and Multimedia Production Day, Fresno State students and high school students of the Central Valley of California have the opportunity to enter into video and photo competitions. Students will not just get the opportunity to showcase their talents to their peers, but also to industry professionals who will be judging their work.
Participants will be judged based on their high school student category or current Fresno State student category. The winners of the competitions will be announced and prizes will be given at the MCJ Week: Multimedia Production Day event at the Satellite Student Union on April 20, 2015, 5:30 – 8 p.m. Winners will also have their videos shown on CMAC. In addition, MCJ students will have the opportunity to enter their video in the MCJ Showcase event that will take place on April 30.
The theme for Central Valley high school students will be to create a 1-2 minute video about a social issue affecting the Central Valley with a call-to-action. The photo competition will have the same theme and students will be able to submit either one photo or a collage of photos.

Entries will be accepted between March 27, 2015, 8 a.m. PT, and April 3, 2015, 11:59 p.m. PT.
